How To Play South Africa Lotto Plus 2 Lottery?

Lotto Plus 2 draws take place twice a week on a Wednesday and Saturday night and follow the main Lotto draw. The supplementary game offers entrants a second chance to win amazing prizes using their chosen Lotto numbers.

To win the jackpot, a player must correctly match all six main numbers chosen from a pool of 52. After the main numbers are drawn, an additional number known as the ‘Bonus Ball’ is randomly selected and increases the value of any prize won by players correctly matching two, three, four or five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball.

Lotto Plus 2 costs an additional R2.50 per line and must be played alongside the main Lotto game. Full prize breakdowns are available online soon after the draw. There are eight prize tiers in Lotto Plus 2 which can be found below:

Division Match Percentage of Prize Pool Odds of Winning
1st 6 53% 1 in 20,358,520
2nd 5 + Bonus Ball 8.1% 1 in 3,393,087

Playing at a Local Retailer

Tickets for Lotto Plus 2 are only available from retailers throughout South Africa. To play, simply select the Lotto Plus 2 option on your playslip.

If purchasing a ticket from a retailer, please ensure that you keep your ticket safe as you will need to produce it in the event that you win a prize. It is also very important that you sign the back of your ticket as, if you lose it, your prize could be claimed by the finder of the ticket if it is unsigned.
